This blog will serve as a place for any and all proud "preppers" out there looking for products to help out during future disaster scenarios. Without any further ado I shall get on with my inaugural post...
Like anyone else concerned with upcoming disasters, I too am always looking out for anything that will ensure the best possible chance of survival. With that in mind, I break down my survival needs into various categories, the main three being food, shelter and, most importantly, water.
Why is water most import, you ask? Well regardless of scenario, without water your expected time of survival is only 3 days. This is only exacerbated by other conditions such as heat and humidity. Compare this to food, which humans can go up to 3 weeks without, and you will see the importance of finding drinkable water as quickly as possible.
One of my favorite ways to obtain water, especially in an urban disaster scenario, is the usage of an Atmospheric Water Generator. In using water from the atmosphere, you are drawing upon a source that is is constantly replenished, so you will never have to worry about your water source running dry. Furthermore, you will not be dependent on municipal water supplies, which could easily be rendered useless by a number of factors such as seismic activity, pollution, or a complete shutdown.
